EMPLOYMENT:

WASHOE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, Office of the General Counsel is seeking candidates for the General Counsel – Employment and Labor. This Leadership Team position performs complex legal work, primarily in the areas of employment and labor law.  This position will also litigate a variety of District issues in federal and state courts as well as administrative law forums and will be the Chief Negotiator, or negotiating team member, for the District in negotiating collective bargaining agreements with public employee associations.  Starting salary range is $133,216 to $140,918, depending on experience, with employer paid contribution plan for PERS.  The position also includes excellent benefits including health insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, all state and federal holidays, Bar Association dues paid, and CLE dues paid.  This posting will remain open until filled.  However, time is of the essence and this position will be filled upon receipt of qualified applications. UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT – District of Nevada Public Notice for Appointment of New United States Magistrate Judge – The Judicial Conference of the United States has authorized the appointment of a full-time United States magistrate judge for the District of Nevada to be located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The current annual salary of the position is $205,528. The term of office is eight years.
